Lapsang Souchong (Smoky) Simple Syrup

Cocktail Recipes

Smoky Old Fashioned

  • 1 oz whiskey
  • 0.5 oz Lapsang Souchong simple syrup
  • 2 dashes bitters (orange)
  • add orange rind, pour over ice

Smoky Caesar

  • 1-1.5 oz vodka
  • 0.25 oz Lapsang Souchong simple syrup
  • 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz olive juice
  • 3 oz Clamato
  • 10 dashes of Worcestershire sauce (or add how you like)
  • 10 dashes of tobasco (or add how you like)
  • Optional Additions: add pepper, dill, cayenne
  • Shake on ice.

Many bartenders will use various tricks to infuse a smoky flavor into their cocktails. But now, you can simply create a smoke simple syrup using our Lapsang Souchong to add that smoky characteristic you're looking for to any cocktail, beverage, or dessert you make!
