Oolong Formosa

Oolong Formosa is a darker style oolong that reigns from Taiwan. Oolongs from Taiwan are typically oxidized for a longer period, making it more of a black-like tea than a green.

Oolong teas are semi-fermented, meaning they are partially oxidized and, for simplicity, can be considered somewhere between a black and green tea. Black teas are fully oxidized while green teas are barely oxidized and it is this process that contributes to the taste and properties of the tea.
