How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 5–7 minutes
- Use 1–2 tsp per 8oz
- Cannot over-steep: no tannins, so no bitterness however long you leave it
Beyond the cup
Steep into cream for a chocolate panna cotta that doesn’t need cocoa powder. Brew strong and add to brownie or chocolate cake batter — the rooibos adds depth without bitterness. Reduce into a chocolate-rooibos syrup for ice cream, lattes, or cocktails. Infuse into warm milk for the best hot chocolate upgrade.
