How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 5–7 minutes
- Use 1–2 tsp per 8oz
- Cannot over-steep: no tannins, so no bitterness however long you leave it
Beyond the cup
The gentler chocolate tea. Steep into cream for a light chocolate custard. Infuse into warm milk for an elevated hot chocolate. Brew alongside cheese — the subtle cacao and rooibos sweetness pair beautifully with a cheese board. Works in baking — add to cream scone batter.
