How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 3–5 minutes
- Use 1 tsp per 8oz
- Rinse the leaf first with a ten-second pour-off, then brew
Beyond the cup
The dessert pu-erh. Steep into cream for a caramel-almond ice cream with an earthy backbone you won’t find in a jar of caramel sauce. Infuse into butter for shortbread with a toffee depth that’ll surprise everyone. Brew strong and reduce into a glaze for roasted pears or baked apples – the butterscotch and almond in the tea do half the work. The most approachable pu-erh for someone who’s never tried one.
