Perfect for
- Beginners
How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 5–7 minutes
- Use 1–2 tsp per 8oz
- Cannot over-steep: no tannins, so no bitterness however long you leave it
Beyond the cup
Steep into cream for an almond-spiced panna cotta that’ll end any dinner party right. Infuse into a simple syrup with extra cardamom for drizzling over baklava or ice cream. Brew strong and reduce with brown sugar for a biscotti-flavored glaze on pork tenderloin. Can’t go bitter no matter how long you steep it — let it sit.
