Simmer in mulled wine, cider, or hot chocolate for instant citrus warmth. Toss into stir-fries, braises, and stews — the chopped pieces add both flavor and visual appeal. Add to grain pilafs, cranberry sauce, or homemade granola. The larger pieces steep beautifully in cocktails and punch. One tablespoon adds the zest of an orange to any batter, sauce, or rub without the moisture. Stir into muffins, scones, and pancake batter. Mix into dry rubs for pork or duck. Add to mulled wine spice mix or hot chocolate. The granule form rehydrates in any recipe — consistent and easy.
