How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 5–10 minutes
- Use 1–2 tsp per 8oz
- No tea leaf and no caffeine, so a long steep only deepens it
Beyond the cup
Reduce into a syrup for tropical holiday cocktails — the pineapple and mango make it a natural for rum-based drinks and festive punches. Brew chilled as a non-alcoholic sangria base — add sliced fruit and sparkling water. Use as a poaching liquid for pears or peaches — the tropical fruit creates an unexpectedly exotic result.
