How to use it
The sweeter smoke. Cherrywood gives a lighter, fruitier smokiness than hickory — think stone-fruit sweetness underneath the smoke. Finish roasted pork, glazed salmon, or grilled peaches. Surprisingly great on chocolate desserts and salted caramels where the fruity smoke adds depth. A gentler alternative when hickory feels too aggressive.
What it goes with
Cherry smoke and pine smoke share the same core compound — so our Lapsang Souchong is the natural match, but the cherry's fruity sweetness keeps it from doubling down too hard. For something gentler, our Smoked Maple Oolong bridges the smoke and sweetness beautifully.
