Collection: Estate

Estate loose leaf teas come from a specific tea estate or single tea garden, often renowned for their quality and unique characteristics. These characteristics - appearance, liquor color, flavor, aroma, body and mouthfeel, finish - are heavily influenced by the region the tea is grown. The terroir refers to these environmental factors which include climate, soil composition, altitude, and weather conditions. Other factors include the cultivar of Camellia sinensis used, processing method, and harvesting season. The cumulative effect of these factors results in high-quality teas that are distinct from all others.
