How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 4–5 minutes
- Use 1 tsp per 8oz
- Or simmer in milk for five minutes for the masala style
Beyond the cup
The baking chai. Steep strong and reduce into a cinnamon syrup for French toast, pancakes, or an Old Fashioned. Infuse into butter for cinnamon-spiced shortbread. The orange peel adds a citrus brightness that lifts apple crumble, pear galette, or anything with stone fruit. Simplest chai in the collection — and sometimes simple is exactly right.
