- High tea
How to brew it
- 212°F / 100°C
- Steep 5–7 minutes
- Use 1–2 tsp per 8oz
- Cannot over-steep: no tannins, so no bitterness however long you leave it
Beyond the cup
The lighter rooibos — grassy, clean, almost green tea–like but caffeine-free. Cold brew for a crisp iced tea. Use as a broth base for light soups — it adds body without sweetness. Steep into light vinaigrettes for salad dressing. Won’t go bitter, so let it steep as long as you want.
What it goes with
The rooibos for people who don’t love rooibos. Lighter and grassier than the red. Sip alongside salads, light cheeses, or grilled chicken. Pair with our Herbes de Provence or Greek Seasoning for a Mediterranean dinner.
