Oolong

Oolong loose leaf tea offers a complex flavor profile that can vary widely, but common flavor notes include floral, fruity, nutty, honey-like, and even creamy or buttery. Some cups have a medium-body and a smooth and rounded mouthfeel, while others are robust and full-bodied. When brewed, lighter oolongs tend to produce a pale yellow liquor with aromas of orchids and jasmine, while darker oolongs produce a golden amber liquor with more roasted or earthy aromas. The finish also varies with the oolong. More oxidized varieties produce a more dry finish, like that of a black tea, but without the harshness.
